I went into Ft Collins last week to shoot some shots for Lucky Joe's, a sidewalk saloon in old town. They needed pictures for a new website they are creating, and I needed a few corporate shots as well. So, it worked out for both of us. I had a great time. The atmosphere of their restaurant is awesome. It made the shoot really fun. They brought out food and I lit and shot it. A HUGE thanks to Jill Mott as well for all her help through all this!! We had a great time. Here are some of the shots I got for their site.

Editorial Final
For my editorial class, I am shooting "Target Ads". So just what it sounds... ads for things that you may find in the store, Target. I decided to keep it more to utensils you would find in a kitchen. Instead of just them by themselves, I put them with other things to tie all the picture together. These are just two of the five I am doing. Check back for the rest in the next few days.
Light
When I thought of photographing "light"... I thought for quite a while about it. I chose to just shoot a simple light bulb. I'm amazed that a little object like this can fully light a whole room. I decided to just take this bulb and use studio lights to make interesting light and shadows within this photo.

Fruit combined with light...
There is something to me that is so interesting about different fruits. When you think about it, there are so many different varieties, textures and tastes. I just find them so interesting. I have decided to do a series on the different types of fruits. The kinds that you may not see or eat every day. Not the typical ones that you would pick up on a trip to the grocery store. I love the different feeling you can create with a subject and the lighting... it's amazing to me. So far, I have gotten a pomegranate and a coconut. Keep checking back for new fruit!

We were sent out for a shoot to get a feature for a mid-term assignment. I walked all over downtown and eventually ended up on 16th Street Mall. There is always plenty of things going on there, but it was 10am on a Monday. There was still plenty to shoot though. I had gotten all kinds of street vendors, and different people that were out that morning. As I walked, I heard a flute sound from a distance. As I walked, I could tell I was getting closer and finally I found where it was coming from! I shot all different angles and different kinds of shots, but felt this one worked out the best for the assignment.

Here are my latest shots from school. They are for my printing class, and I was told just to shoot something that interests me. I am wanting to go into product and advertising photography once I graduate, so I figured I better get into the studio and shoot something that was along those lines. Here's what I came up with.
